Sometimes Office encounters errors within its background processes which can stop applications like Word or Outlook from running correctly, or at all. To run a repair to remove these errors please follow the below steps.


Please be aware while running a repair on Office you will be unable to use any Microsoft Office application on your device. You will, however, be able to use the applications web based versions.  Instructions on how to access Office applications via the web browser can be found here.



WINDOWS 10


Open the Control Panel and navigate to Programs and Features




Select Microsoft Office 365 - en-us and the Change option.




Chose Online Repair and click Repair.


Allow this to run once completed you will be able to use Office applications as normal.




WINDOWS 11 (InTune)


Make sure to save any work you have done on any documents and close all MS apps.


Search for "Add or remove programs"




In the list of apps presented scroll down until you find the below




Click on the 3 dots, select Modify and go through the prompts




This should bring MS installer upfront, select Online repair and click on Repair
