A Virtual Private Network or VPN is used to extend a private network across a public network. In Domino's case it allows for those individuals with an account on the Domino network  to access the services on the Domino network remotely as if you were still in the office.

Please note that for the VPN to function you will need to have been added to VPN access group by your local IT Team and have access to the internet. 

We recommend that before proceeding with the below instructions you contact your local IT Team to check you are a member of the VPN security group.

Below you will find instructions on how to manually install the latest Cisco AnyConnect VPN client.

 

Current VPN users must ensure that any existing AnyConnect installations are removed prior to installing the new client.  If you do not have existing client software installed/new user, proceed to Dowloading the client at the end of this article.

To uninstall an existing client version, click on the Start menu and select Settings (the cog icon)

Select Apps in Windows Settings view

In the list of apps, select Cisco AnyConnect Start Before Login Module and uninstall

 

Next uninstall the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client


Reboot your device.  




Download the VPN client by opening a browser to vpn.domino-printing.com


Install the Cisco Secure Client


Reboot the client machine


Connect to the Domino VPN Service (You might be required to type the server name vpn.domino-printing.com)
