The attached guide explains how to open files which are attached to Parts and Documents. The options available will vary depending on the user’s permissions.
Examples of where this may be used:
· A user wants to read a drawing file which is attached to a Part. This is a PDF document and the user has Adobe PDF reader on their PC.
· A users want to read a model file which is attached to a Part. This is a STP file and they need an application on their PC to view it OR if they have permissions, they can read it in AutoVue
