Oracle is normally only accessible when you are connected to our network, which means that you are using a VPN connection to get onto the Domino network.

 

Our infrastructure team has built an alternative route to get to Oracle. The instructions are below.

 

If you only need access to the VPN for Oracle, then try the method below and do not connect to the Cisco or Meraki VPN connections.

 



Download the Azure Remote Desktop client and install (No administrative permissions required)

  1. X64 (Windows 10) https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2068602

  1. Start the client when it has downloaded

 


     Click Next and accept the Terms and Conditions.

 

Select to install for just you (to avoid the need for Administrator privileges)

 Select to Launch the Remote Desktop

 

  1. , if you didn’t select the option to start after installation, then you can search for the Remote Desktop

 

 

  1. Click “Subscribe” and login with your Domino network login e.g. ryan.wilkins@domino-uk.com

  1. When successfully logged in, you should see some applications presented

 

  1. Starting an application, this can take several minutes

 

Click OK

 

 


 Select “Don’t enable”

 

 

 

You may have to click on the Internet Explorer tab to get back to the Oracle applications page.

 

 

  1. You will see the application page

 

 You may get prompted about security certificates.

 Just check the “Always trust content from this publisher.” Box and clicked Run.

 

  1. The remote application will present itself on your task bar.  See the blue IE icon with a green cross…
