Rules corrupted in outlook fix


If you are getting this message, there is a quick fix

Go to the online version of outlook https://outlook.office.com and remove the last 3 rules then add them again in the desktop client this should stop the error message.


  1. Go to settings in the top right of the online Outlook
  2. Choose the bottom option View all Outlook settings

  1. You can remove rules from here and then add them back in the local version of Outlook.
