This guide is to show you how to create a signature in Microsoft Outlook, using both Outlook (classic) and Outlook (new). Attached to this support article is a word document, where you can copy and paste your new signature into Outlook. Please make sure that the appropriate fonts are used, if you do not have Noto Sans installed on your laptop, you can download it here.
In Outlook (classic)
In Microsoft Outlook (Classic), select 'File'
Next, click on 'Options' (found at the bottom left of the screen)
A new window will open, select 'Mail'
Then click on 'Signatures...'
Another window will open. Make sure your email address is the one listed in 'E-mail account'.
To create your new signature, click 'New' and give it a new name and press 'OK'
You then will have a new window, copy the details from the attached signature template and paste them into the window. Once pasted, replace with your information. Ensure that the text font is black and in Noto Sans.
Once you are happy, change the default signatures from your current one (if you have one already) to your new one.
Once done, press 'OK'.
To confirm that this has worked, open a new email and your new signature should be there.
In Outlook (new)
If you have upgraded to the Microsoft Outlook (new), then the steps are slightly different.
Click on the 'cog' for the settings, found on the top right of the window
A new window will open, click on 'Signatures'
Click, '+ New signature'
Give the signature a name, and copy in the details from the attached signature template and paste them into the window. Once pasted, replace with your information. Ensure that the text font is black and in Noto Sans.
Ensure you set your new signature as the default signatures.
There is no need to press save, you can now close the window. Open a new email to confirm your signature has applied.
